8 Apr 1838 George Casper mortgage to Jacob Trexler and John Trexler, security, all of Rowan County, NC. George Casper is indebted to Jacob Trexler in the sum of three hundred dollars due by 26 Apr 1838. George Casper pledges the one hundred eighty-three acres where he now resides to John Trexler for one dollar paid by him granting John Trexler the right of public sale of Casper's property if he fails to pay his debt to Jacob Trexler, along with any interest accrued and costs on or before the 25th day of April, 1839.
